Westinghouse Water Heating - Return Policy
Westinghouse Water Heating values our relationship with you and offers a return policy for products that are purchased directly on WestinghouseWaterHeating.com. Under this policy, you may return to Westinghouse Water Heating, within 30 days, products that you purchased directly from WestinghouseWaterHeating.com for a full refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees.
Returns must be in their original packaging, in as-new condition along with all documentation, and all other items that were included in the original shipment. A restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from all refunds. If any of the items have been used or installed Westinghouse Water Heating cannot accept the return and will be unable to provide a refund for liability reasons. However, installed items with defects or a direct result of a Westinghouse Water Heating error can be returned and will not be charged a restocking fee. You must contact us via email by clicking contact or via phone for authorization to return items. Westinghouse Water Heating requires a Return Material Authorization (RMA) code for all returns. Return shipping costs at your expense. We recommend insuring the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipping.
Refunds generally occur within 14 to 30 days after we receive the return. If an item is shipped in error, Westinghouse Water Heating will refund you the total amount of your order or immediately ship the correct item.
Please open all boxes immediately and check for contents and damage. We must know within 3 business days of receipt of any damage/problems. If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please make sure that when you sign the shippers proof-of-delivery slip that you include a note stating that the package is/appears damaged or requires further inspection. Also, if there was any internal (non-visible) damage, this should be reported to the carrier (or to us) within 3 business days of receiving the product. If you do accept a damaged shipment, please inform Westinghouse Water Heating immediately. We do expect you to deal with the carrier in that case.
